Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated June 26, 2026

Mensuria handles sensitive data — photos of people's homes and insured personal information. These rules keep that data safe and the service available for everyone.

This is a plain-language policy provided in good faith. Mensuria is a small company and this is not legal advice; we may update these terms and will flag material changes.

1. Authority to upload

You warrant that, for everything you upload, you have the lawful right and authorityto do so — including the insured's personal information and photographs of third-party property — and to have it processed by AI to draft an estimate. Do not upload data you are not authorized to handle.

2. Legitimate use only

Use Mensuriasolely for genuine insurance-adjusting work. Outputs are drafts to support a licensed adjuster's judgment, not finished estimates — see the AI-output terms in our Terms of Service.

3. Prohibited conduct

  • Uploading content you lack the rights to, or that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing.
  • Submitting an AI draft as a final estimate without a licensed adjuster's review and approval.
  • Attempting to access another user's claims, accounts, or data.
  • Reverse-engineering the service, scraping it, or extracting its knowledge base in bulk.
  • Abusing the generation endpoint — automated/bulk requests, sharing one account across people, or circumventing plan or rate limits — or otherwise running up usage in bad faith.
  • Uploading malware, or attempting to disrupt, overload, or probe the service for vulnerabilities outside our responsible-disclosure process.
  • Misrepresenting Mensuria as affiliated with Verisk or Xactimate.

4. Enforcement

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy, and may remove offending content. Serious or illegal misuse may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Questions or a report? Email support@mensuria.com.
