1. What Mensuria is
Mensuria is a drafting tool. It reads field photos and measurements and proposes Xactimate-style line items to speed up your write-up. It is an assistant, not a decision-maker or a licensed adjuster.
2. AI output — read this carefully
Every scope Mensuria produces is an AI-generated draft that may contain errors, omissions, incorrect selector codes, or wrong quantities. You must review and verify every line before using it. The licensed adjuster of record is solely responsible for the final estimate, its accuracy, and its submission. Mensuria makes no warranty that any output is accurate, complete, or accepted by any carrier, and is not a substitute for your professional judgment.
3. Accounts
- Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
- One account per person, except where a Firm plan expressly provides for multiple seats.
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
4. Acceptable use
Your use is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you warrant that you have the lawful authority to upload insured personal information and photographs of third-party property, and that you will use Mensuria only for legitimate insurance-adjusting purposes.
5. Plans, trial & billing
- New accounts include a free trial of a limited number of claims, with no card required.
- Paid plans (Solo Lite, Solo) are monthly subscriptions billed in advance via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. The CAT Season Pass is a one-time purchase. Firm (per-seat) is arranged directly with us.
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Plans include a monthly claim allowance; overages or limits are described at purchase.
- Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds for partial periods or unused claims. We may change prices with advance notice.
6. Ownership
We own Mensuria, its software, and its knowledge base. You own your claim data and the scopes you generate and approve. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage statistics to improve the product — never your claim content to train AI models.
7. Trademarks
Xactimate® and Verisk® are trademarks of Verisk Analytics, Inc. Mensuria is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Verisk. References to Xactimate describe interoperability and format only.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mensuria will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost estimates, or claim disputes. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event or US $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Mensuria harmless from claims arising out of your content, your lack of authority to upload it, your use of any output, or your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms; continued use after a material change means you accept the update. Questions? Email support@mensuria.com.
